  Last year I was brought into court regarding a probation violation hearing and my regular attorney was not there. Mr. Mason stepped in and handling my case quickly and fairly. Unbeknownst to either of us, I ended up being held after the court had ordered me to do over-nights and a substance abuse class, that was in May. I ended up being held through October, and during that time Mr. Mason went above & beyond the call of duty for me attempting to find out why I still had a hold on me. So even though he made very little for being my court appointed lawyer, he spent hours during this period on the phone, and writing letters on my behalf. I have never known an attorney to go out of their way to assist a pro bono client as he did. He was always responsive to my multiple inquiries, doing so in a timely manner. In addition to coming up to the County jail to see me face to face on more than one occasion. I would highly recommend Mr. Mason for anyone facing criminal charges in Johnson County. You won't be disappointed!
